What can I say. We gave the boys bunk beds. They call them “bump beds”. As long as “bump” doesn’t become “jump” then they can call it whatever they want.

Jenny and Dave came down from Seattle to introduce us to our new little buddy (even better than buddy… family! That means we can MAKE the kids play together for our amusement!)

Robyn found bikes online for the boys. They came earlier this week, and with all the rain we haven’t been able to take them out until today (but we HAVE been riding them inside the house… which has been…. great…)
Next stop, the park!

It’s easy to forget that, sometimes, we have nice mornings where the boys play nicely with Annabelle. She loves when her brothers play with her.
One year old! One year ago today we had a txt conversation:
Aaron: Hey, how’d your 35 week appointment go?
Robyn: Oh, pretty good. We’re going to have a baby today. Call when you get a chance.
Aaron: …
One year of watching Annabelle grow from a fragile little infant to a mobile, babbling toddler. One year of two big brothers giving her love and (mostly) positive attention. A year full of smiles and giggles (and good sleeping! WOOO HOO!)
Anyway, the party was a big hoot. Great weather. Good friends. Loving family. We had a very good day!

Bathtime became a lot more fun for us when she decided to stop screaming bloody murder, and start enjoying herself. (Threesome bathtub experience to follow shortly.)
And how the heck is she going to be ONE YEAR OLD this month? How did THAT happen?

Robyn and I picked up the boys from Grandma’s house this morning. They stayed the night to “eat popcorn in bed and watch movies” (their words). And more or less, that’s what they did.
We were afraid of getting a call at 10pm saying the boys wouldn’t sleep, were freaked out, or something else. I’m happy to report that the boys didn’t want to leave this morning. I wonder if we can make this a regular gig…
Easter Sunday started with the official Mall Street Egg Hunt! So, Mason and the boys. Still, a good time.
Then Aunt Nay, feeling the urge to simultaneously out-do and be out-done, created yet another scavenger hunt for the boys in Grandma Rose’s common room. This time, she created a map for the boys to follow. That brings this year’s egg hunt count to 3, in the span of 2 days.
I should surprise no one that, at 7:30pm, the boys were both passed out in bed.

Our day started with a trip on the train to pick Grandma and Grandpa Clevenger up from PDX.
Upon coming home, we found that the Easter Bunny had been by with eggs for the boys to find. (Lucky for them, Aunt Nay knows the Easter Bunny personally… I think they were roommates for a while.)
